Cheryl Cole was so appalled by all of the lies and cheating done by her soon-to-be ex-husband Ashley Cole that the Girls Aloud singer was willing to walk out of their marriage without getting any financial support from the football player. Cheryl was even going to let him keep their home in Surrey, England! But now, a source has come out to say that Cheryl “can’t believe she will walk away with nothing. She worked hard as him for their possessions” and once the divorce is finalized, she will be getting about $6.8 million. Good for her for figuring out that Ashley doesn’t deserve to get his cake and eat it too.
Toni Braxton and her hubby of 8 years, Keri Lewis, have been separated since last November and she says there was no third party involved. The R&B singer said “My heart is still broken – who knew a song about heartbreak would literally be my life? There wasn’t a third party involved – nothing like that. If there was, I’d have a whole different personality right now. Maybe it was the working together – the stress – that ended our marriage. But we are great friends still. I’m not happy about the marriage breaking up, but you gotta do what you gotta do – you know when things are dissolving. (We) haven’t talked about divorce yet. When you have a special-needs child, that changes things. We’ll see what happens. I’m not eager for us to get back together again, but… I’m not eager to go any further than separation right now. I think for boys, it’s important for a father to be around and Keri is very active in their lives.”
At least this is how Ashley Cole seems to feel since he’s trying everything he can think of to win the Girls Aloud singer back. A source had this to add to Ashley Cole’s list of desperate attempts at getting Cheryl Cole back: “He bought an iPod and is currently downloading all of the songs they loved as a couple. He’s trying everything in his power to win her back. Cheryl won’t talk to him face to face, but he’s hoping this might help her remember the good times in their relationship. There are a lot of messages of love and apology in there. This is his attempt to make her listen, through song, to what he has to say.” Like everything else this is probably going to backfire as well. After all, Cheryl Cole already filled for divorce, no amount of mushy love songs will make her turn back now.
And most might think he’s really going about it the wrong way. It seems that Cheryl Cole’s former husband is trying to get back into her good graces and he’s started by getting custom-made dog collars for their once two Chihuahuas. This is what a source related on the matter: “Both Cheryl and Ashley love their Chihuahuas so the leather collars were a bit of a light-hearted, jokey present. He had them engraved with the letter ‘A’ again as a bit of a joke. But he is hoping Buster and Coco will wear them with pride.” Sure it all starts with a funny little present and before she knows it, Cheryl Cole is already giving the relationship one more shot… or one more chance for it to miss.
It seems that the singer didn’t find it too easy to get over her split with her husband back in 2008 and she actually just wanted to disappear. However, thank the high heavens for her new reality show that was the saving factor. This is what Shania Twain said on the matter: “I feel like in a way I’m starting over, with everything. Cheryl Cole has apparently agreed to meet with her cheating douche bag of a husband Ashley Cole in the south of France where he is recuperating after an ankle injury to hear what he has to say for himself. A source said “Cheryl wants to be tough with Ashley and believes that it will be easier on neutral territory. She’ll listen — but not for very long.” It’s even being said that he is sending the Girls Aloud singer text messages with lyrics from her own songs. Cheryl is so much better off without him. I wish she would just file for divorce.
Country singer Sara Evans filed a temporary restraining order against her ex-husband Craig Schelske last week, prohibiting him from making any derogatory statements about her to the media or to make allegations about what led to their divorce back in the fall of 2007. That pretty much makes it sound like she was the one having an affair. If you don’t recall, at the time of their split, rumors circulated around that both of them had been unfaithful. The court date has been set for March 15th. I have a feeling we’re about to witness a showdown. You have to love the drama.
Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, recently filed for divorce from her husband of 29 years, Mathew Knowles who also happens to be the singer’s manager. I wonder if this has anything to do with that paternity lawsuit from a few months back that pretty much insinuates that Mathew had an affair. Beyonce is a big cash cow so there’s plenty of money at stake in this one. I expect a huge dirty battle. I wonder how Beyonce and her sister Solange feel about this. Being in the middle of a divorce, regardless of your age, can be tough. Bring on the drama for our sakes!
LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet have reached a divorce settlement which puts an end to their almost 8 year marriage, prompted by the country singer cheating with actor Eddie Cibrian, who also happens to be married and going through a divorce. The settlement is confidential but it is highly likely that they are dividing up the money, property and other assets. LeAnn and Dean’s divorce is expected to be finalized in June 2010. I hope Dean gets loads of cash from this one after all the mess that he’s been put through. The very least LeAnn could do is pay him off if she has a conscience.
The rapper’s marriage is finally over. It’s been five months since Usher filled for divorce and now he is finally free to pursue other ambitions. However, he did not do so without giving a heart-felt speech about how his sons changed him: “Before, everything was about accumulation and conquering. Kids give you more purpose. Now it’s about transferring the wealth. I’ve got to take care of my babies. I want them to know Dad cared for them, nurtured them.” Usher speaks much truth… after all, who’s going to be taking care of him when he is old and feeble? And after all, now that he has kids, there is even more conquering and accumulation to be done. The empire grows!
Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce from Deryck Whibley. The singer cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. According to the documents, Avril says that they separated on September 4th and that she and the Sum 41 front man were married for 3 years and 1 month. Avril isn’t asking for spousal support and she also checked the box in the documents saying that she doesn’t want to have to pay Deryck any money. Obviously, she makes more money than he does and she doesn’t want any more trouble than she has to deal with. I wonder how Deryck feels about all this.
Even though she’s getting divorced from Dean Sheremet, LeAnn Rimes is apparently turning the whole thing into a rather productive venture by using the situation to write a new album that will be released next spring. On the matter, LeAnn Rimes related: “Most of the stuff I’ve written myself, so it’s definitely my life. The subjects of the tunes are down the middle between heartbreak and love.” This is all fine and natural, nothing out of the ordinary here… except, LeAnn Rimes is getting divorce because of an affair she had with actor Eddie Cibrian. Some mighty interesting songs will probably show up on that album given these circumstances.
It looks like the singer is going to go all noble in this time of great hardship for him. Peter Andre has decided, and also made his decision public, to not have any sex until his divorce from Katie Price will have been completed. This is what Peter Andre said in regards to his decision: “I’m going to steer clear of women for at least two-and-a-half months. No sex for me. It’s not to do with lawyers, I just want to do the honorable thing by Kate. I don’t think it would be right to have a sexual relationship until everything is sorted and we move on.” Wait a minute! The singer and his wife Katie Lee Joel have apparently decided to go their separate ways recently. Still, it seems it was a decent break-up, with no hard feelings… or so Billy Joel’s spokeswoman said: “After nearly five years of marriage, Billy and Katie have decided to separate. The decision is the result of much thought and consideration. Billy and Katie remain caring friends, with admiration and respect for each other.” Right, that sounds like they had one hell of a fight but decided to keep it private… either that or the age difference kicked in and Billy Joel just acted his own age, but I’d go for the first if I had to wager.
The estranged wife of singer Peter Andre has recently boasted about how good she has been doing ever since separating from her husband. Katie Price said: “I’m doing really well, focusing on the kids, my work, keeping fit and moving forward – and after four years I’m no longer taking my anti-depressants. I’m in a really good place.” Yep, it really does seem that Peter Andre is the only one who really is affected by this whole separation thing… either that or Katie Price has been drinking a lot more than she says she has. Oh well, if that’s the case, then Peter Andre will have an ace up his sleeve when the divorce trial and custody hearings start pouring in.
The lawyer who has in the past opposed rapper T.I. regarding a child-support case is now representing Usher’s new ex-wife in her divorce process. Randy Kessler, the lawyer in question, claims that Tameka Foster Raymond has been faithful and loving during the two year marriage she had with Usher but didn’t comment any more on her conduct during the marriage. That’s probably where Usher’s comment part kicks in, he’ll most definitely have something to say about how Tameka behaved during the marriage. Too bad we’ll have to wait for the hearing for that to happen, but hey, more things to look forward to, eh?
The singer recently agreed to meet Katie Price in order to discuss the issue of childcare now that their marriage is over. Peter Andre supposedly refused to allow Katie Price to fly to Cyprus to see him, but agreed to meet somewhere on neutral ground. Peter Andre said the following to a friend about the whole thing: “I said to Katie, ‘I’m only doing this for the sake of our kids – not you. When we do meet, it’s purely for the children. I miss them desperately – they’re my main priority.’” The neutral ground thing is good… but it’s probably not going to work too well to Peter Andre’s advantage as he would’ve had his whole family’s support in Cyprus. But then again, it’s not like Katie Price is so easily intimidated… or so they say.
This bit is just some sort of rumor courtesy those who have nothing better to do than to gossip about a couple that’s doing well and happy together. The two of them are professionals and quite occupied with commitments.
And what the hell does a difference does it make if they were to split. Hollywood is also better known as splitzville if you may call it. Paris can’t stick to a man and needs a bullshit chap so that she can create a sex video.
Thankfully Marc & Jennifer do not fall into that category where they have to create sex videos of themselves just to grab attention. But they also need not get into the publicity blitz by spreading the divorce thing to grab attention.
She because there are some reports that say that Jennifer walks into her house, picks up her baby and walk right into the kitchen does not mean the couple are not locked up in love.
