Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael has reportedly penned a song about his love for his daughter.
Michael wrote the song to try and reach out to his daughter, who he has been estranged from him for some time now.
Lindsay, 24, is currently serving a 90-day sentence in a Californian prison and her father Michael has written and produced a new composition to tell all about his love for his daughter.
According to TMZ, Michael wrote the song while he was in jail and produced it when he got out and got a friend to perform it for him.
Some of the lyrics include phrases such as ‘a father’s love will never die’ and another says ‘always daddy’s little girl’.
There are rumored to be some big shake ups on American Idol next season now that Nigel Lythgoe is in talks to return as executive producer. Some people are saying that he wants to completely take apart the judges’ panel and start from scratch. However, he can’t do that due to the contracts of Randy Jackson and Ellen DeGeneres. That does leave Kara DioGuardi free for the booting. Nigel allegedly wants to take over Simon Cowell’s spot as the judge and if they can’t find a fourth judge that he deems appropriate, sources are saying that the panel will go back to having three judges. Since no one has heard the song, no one’s downloading it. ‘You Lost Me’ isn’t even in the top 200 on the iTunes singles chart. That hurts.
The band Girls Aloud might reunite, but without one of former components: Nadine Coyle. The other members of the band: Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Kimberly Walsh and Cheryl Cole did not keep in touch with Nadine for a few months now, because Nadine is working on her solo album. According to a close friend, the girls want to reunite, but without Nadine. The source also said that it was a hard decision for Sarah, Nicola, Kimberly and Cheryl, but they chose for Girls Aloud to have a future without Nadine. Last month Nicola admitted that none of the girls kept in touch with Nadine, who is in Los Angeles to record her solo album.
Paris Hilton is hoping to have the same success that her favorite singer Kylie Minogue is having in charts all around the world. Paris is preparing to release a new album, her second album, but she does not have a name for it, yet. Paris declared that when creating this new album, she was inspired by Kylie Minogue, and that her fans will be surprised about this new material. “My album is still in production. I recently finished recording it, and it will contain dance and club music. I have always loved Kylie Minogue. She’s one of my favorite artists. I love her music and it inspired me when creating my new album” said Paris.
La Roux has had to cancel their US tour after the band’s lead singer Elly Jackson was ordered by her doctor to spot performing. The group made the announcement on their Facebook saying that “Elly has been struggling with bronchitis for the last few months and after her show in LA, contracted pharyngitis. Her doctor has advised her to rest for three weeks so unfortunately she’ll be unable to continue with her American tour. We are endeavouring to reschedule as many of the cancelled shows for November as possible. An announcement will be made shortly.” Here’s to hoping that Elly makes a speedy recovery.

The young artist declared to Vibe.com that puberty is absolutely normal and every boy’s voice changes through it. Justin has Usher on his side to help him, by teaching him how to deal with these changes in his voice. Usher also started singing at a young age, and his voice turned out ok, meaning that Justin is in good hands.
Sir Elton John is working on the production of a musical based on George Orwell’s “Animal Farm” novel. For this project, Elton John contacted the writer Lee Hall, so that together they’ll bring to file a new version of this novel where the animals take control of a farm. Hall revealed that Elton contacted him about the project two years ago, but they abandoned it when a few problems came up. Before getting to work on this musical, Elton has to take care of his health problems. He recently had to cancel a concert due to a food poisoning.
If you still give a crap about Bush, you’re in luck because the band is releasing a new album. Bush has decided to extend their reunion for another year. After nine years of their radio silence, the guys are set to release a new album this coming October and then go on tour in 2011. But then again, you have to ask who cares about them anymore. I doubt there’s a large enough group of fans around to make this thing profitable. Besides, lead singer Gavin Rossdale is a proud papa and a hubby to a hot wife. He doesn’t really need to do this.
House actor Hugh Laurie has signed a record deal for a new blues album later this year.
The 51-year-old star will team up with several musicians for the new album, which he is releasing with music group Warner.
The actor is regularly seen playing a guitar and piano on the US TV series and he will record it later this year for a release in the autumn.
Speaking about the new venture, he said: “I am drunk with excitement at this opportunity. I know the history of actors making music is a chequered one, but I promise no one will get hurt.
“I am particularly thrilled to be working with Joe Henry, who has produced some of my favourite records of all time, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Britney Spears has just been named the best selling female artist of the past decade as the Recording Industry Association of America just certified the pop star for selling more than 100 million records. Congratulations Britney! It now gives me high hopes that the singer has what it takes to make it in the music industry. That’s if she remains on the straight and narrow. Sharon Osbourne has said that troubled actress Lindsay Lohan’s stint behind bars is “saving her life”.
The 57-year-old America’s Got Talent judge told Access Hollywood, “The judge has been the only one to give tough love and that’s what she needs right now. I know she doesn’t think so, but she’s going to look back on her life in a few months and she’s going to go, ‘Thank you, God’.”
Earlier this month Lohan was sentenced to 90 days jail for violating her DUI probation. This week she entered the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California. However, according to some reports, the turbulent star may only serve as little as two weeks in the facility.
Osbourne commented, “It’s not going to cure her, but hopefully it will be enough time on her own for her to rethink her life.”

Paparazzi were waiting for her at the court doors, but they were not able to take photos of Lindsay in the moment of handcuffing, because the judge ordered to shot down all cameras. It is possible that she will atone for only 25% of the sentence, meaning 23 days. I think it is going to be a harsh experience for her.
Lady Gaga will delay the release of her new album. Even though she declared not long ago that she wants to release her new album on New Years Eve, the singer decided to release the album next year. Lady Gaga finished writing the songs for the album last month, and the first single extracted from this album was already recorded in Liverpool. Lady Gaga’s reason for delaying the album release is that she is willing to have many TV appearances and to give many interviews. Religious protesters have bombarded Lady Gaga fans with homophobic insults at the star’s Missouri concert.
People attending the St Louis leg of the Monster Ball tour were met by enraged activists voicing their protest at Gaga’s support of gay rights, Contact Music reported.
But the Poker Face singer took to Twitter to warn fans before the show at the Scottrade Center, and plead with her followers to ignore the members of Westboro Baptist Church.
She wrote: “At the risk of drawing attention to a hateful organisation, I would like to make my… fans aware of a protest being held outside the (concert) in St Louis.
“My request to (fans) and public authorites (sic) is to pay these hate criminals no mind. Do not interact with them, or try to fight… Do not respond to any of their provocation. Don’t waste your words, or feelings, no matter what you hear or see, you are more fortunate and blessed than they are, and in your heart just pray for them.”

It seems that not even Pink can avoid the curse of on stage accidents. During a performance in Nuremberg at the beginning of the week, the artist found herself on the ground, after the equipment that should have lift her into the air did not function correctly. The concert was stopped immediately when Pink fell directly on the steel fence surrounding the stage. The 30 year old artist came back to stage to apologize before she was transported to the hospital. At the hospital there were made some investigations to see how serious her injuries are.
