Lily Allen Cancels Again
A word of advice to all you remaining Lily Allen fans – stop giving a crap! The singer obviously doesn’t give one about any of her fans so why bother caring anymore. You should just enjoy her music in the comfort of your home and stop wasting all of your time and money on the singer live because she will do nothing but disappoint you. It has once again been reported that Lily has cancelled a performance this past weekend due to a throat infection. It wouldn’t be so bad if the show wasn’t for charity. She couldn’t even pull it together for the less fortunate.

Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish created some buzz at a charity auction where Furnish ended up bidding for his own prize.

The pair attended the dinner thrown by footballer Rio Ferdinand to launch his new Live The Dream Foundation.

One of the items up for auction was the chance to spend the afternoon with John browsing his private art collection at his house in Windsor. This would be followed by afternoon tea with John and Furnish.

But funnily enough, it was Furnish who won the bidding – at £30,000 – for the experience. A gift from John and Furnish indeed. A total £300,000 was raised at the event for the foundation.

A TV star from New Zealand has apologised for calling Susan Boyle “retarded”.

Paul Henry, who presents a breakfast show on the state-owned Television New Zealand, made the comment in a broadcast on November 23.

The TV station has now upheld complaints made against him by viewers – but Henry looks set to keep his job.

Speaking after the ruling, Henry said: “I am sorry that some people have taken what I said in a way that I never intended.

“In fact, I have a great amount of respect for people who rise to the challenges imposed on them in life.”

In the controversial broadcast, Henry read a quote from a magazine which said that Scots-born Susan had an intellectual disability because she was starved of oxygen at birth.

He said: “Here’s the really interesting revelation: she is in fact, retarded.”

Anthony Flannery, Television New Zealand’s head of news and current affairs, admitted Henry’s comments had “overstepped the mark”.

He added: “We apologise to those who were hurt and distressed by it.”

Russell Brand is reportedly moving in with girlfriend Katy Perry after buying a house in the Hollywood Hills.

The 34-year-old comic is moving in to the $3.5 million house with Perry, 24, and it is reportedly close to Britney Spears’ old home.

They reportedly bought the seven-bedroom home in the posh estate The Summit, where Britney also lived for 18 months.

According to reports, Brand said to a pal: “We’re nesting and one of the first things we’re going to do is buy a pet dog.”

Well, well… it seems Lindsay Lohan really did take her judge’s decision very seriously since she is already back from India. No doubt she desperately wants to be a good student at her new alcohol classes. But it seems that the paparazzi have spotted Lindsay Lohan getting her groove on in LA last night… and she hit a few glasses too. Oh well, probably just a celebration for her amazing accomplishments in saving lives last week. But still, showing up drunk at alcohol classes would be really, really ironic. However, a hangover would probably just suggest Lindsay Lohan has done her homework.

It seems that the Earl of Exigency is very keen on creating something similar to a natural disaster. So Simon Cowell has decided to easiest way to achieve this is to invite his former girlfriends on a cruise in the Caribbean on his private yacht. A source explained Simon Cowell’s intentions: “Simon is totally exhausted after The X Factor and wants to chill out. He didn’t think twice about inviting his ex-girlfriends as he loves their company and they are a hoot.” He’s probably not taking into account the interaction factors involved, but what could possibly go wrong? They’re all probably just going to spend a nice time reminiscing about the good old days… all together at once. Still, Terry Seymour has apparently not yet confirmed. That might not bode well for Simon Cowell’s master plan.

X Factor judge Simon Cowell has added further fuel to speculation that the show is heading to America.

The 50-year-old star, who recently finished the sixth series of the UK talent show, is said to be taking the popular series to the US in addition to his show American Idol.

He told BBC’s Newsnight: “I think the show will go to America. It has to go to America. There has to be an American version of the show.

“To not make the X Factor in the biggest market in the world would be crazy.”

It has been rumoured that he is keen to take his fellow X Factor judge and Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole, 26, with him for the US version.

Almost two months after his tragic death, the fortune left behind by Stephen Gately is still being shuffled around. The reason is that the former Boyzone singer never got to draft a will, or at least, not one that anyone can get their hands on. And because there is no documentation that can be found and since England recognizes same sex unions, if a will isn’t found, the majority of Stephen’s $10 million will go to his partner Andrew Cowles. Andrew has already publicly stated that any money that he will receive will go to charity. I hope no one else contests this. I’m pretty sure that Stephen would have wanted that.

It seems Pete Wentz doesn’t love the symbolic emblem of Christmas in a home too much. The bassist from Fall Out Boy had the following to say on tweeter about his own Christmas tree: “Seriously eff a xmas tree. sweating balls right now putting it up lights and all. knowing its all just gonna end go away. kind of like life. I think im allergic to the xmas tree. some kind of spruce mix, a hybrid. like a prius. ugh,” Is that a new Grynch that steals Christmas forming over on the horizon? If Pete Wentz hates those pesky trees so much, maybe he’ll do the world a favor and hijack Santa’s ride and start burning them all in the name of righteousness and his allergies.

The singer recently admitted that she still appreciates all beautiful women, even though she is married now. This is what Fergie said on the matter: “Oh, I totally celebrate women. Of course, I’m married now so it’s a different story – I’m a one-man woman. But yes I still appreciate beautiful women.” Yeah, too bad Fergie’s husband is not a one-woman man, but hey… they can’t all be peachy, now can they? And what is Fergie trying to insinuate over here, that beautiful women aren’t usually in the company of only one man? Some of these women might take offence at that, mind you!

Apparently Adam Lambert has recently met with a couple of representatives from the great kingdom of ABC and discussed the terms of peace between the two factions. When he was asked if he was hurt by ABC’s cruel treatment of him, Adam Lambert replied with the following: “I’m surprised! I’m like, ‘Really. Is it that big of a deal?’” Well, well, Adam Lambert is quite the negotiator, isn’t he? As the old saying goes: forgive, but don’t forget… or at least pretend to forgive until you get a chance to get even, right? Adam Lambert now has an open window to dream up some very delightful schemes for ABC.

It seems the singer who has been a judge on The X Factor might soon have to hand in her resignation in favor of Melanie B. This is what a source said on the matter, especially in relation to the big boss himself, Simon Cowell: “Simon thinks Mel would be brilliant as she is outspoken, down-to-earth and won’t hold back. There were times in the current series that he felt things were a bit boring and he is certain sparks will fly with her on board… It will be interesting to see whether she and Cheryl Cole will gel or whether it will be handbags at dawn.” Well, Danii Minogue wants to settle down anyway so what does she care? As for Melanie B and Cheryl Cole… let total war begin!

The band are apparently getting their engines warmed-up for a new album which of course will be due next year… no sense in spoiling everyone’s holidays just yet. Marvin Humes from JLS said the following on the matter: “It’s straight back into it with the tour in February and the release of our third single. As soon as the tour is finished the plan is that we will go into the studio and start putting the second album together.” Well, well, what do you know? The boy bands live on! One would’ve thought that their breed was under the threat of extinction and yet here JLS come along and prove it is not. This is even more exciting than pandas mating!

Just after she told the world that she would be sparing us from her musical stylings for the next year or so, there’s news that Lily Allen has been struggling through the final dates of her tour. The British train wreck of a singer has allegedly been diagnosed with both laryngitis and bronchitis, but has been battling through both to finish her tour dates. Is she really suffering from that or could it just be a ploy to pull out of her tour early? Lily said “I’ve had laryngitis and bronchitis for about two months and I’ve just been doing so many gigs and just not resting. I have been to an ear, nose, and throat specialist a few times and they stuck a big camera down my throat. It’s not very nice.”

After repeatedly canceling his performances, it seems ABC is looking to try and make up with Adam Lambert. It seems that he has been invited to perform on “The View”. This is what Adam Lambert tweeted about this new turn of events: “Hey friends! I will be performing and hanging w the ladies of ABC’s The View Thursday the 10th!” He seems very optimistic about this one? Who knows, maybe this time ABC will really let him perform, but most likely only if Adam Lambert promises to behave himself and play nice with his band… no more funny stuff, now!

This man clearly doesn’t want the deustchlanders to have a very good impression of him. After his extreme stunt with the Nazi songs at the festival, Pete Doherty decided to push onward in his plan to get arrested by German authorities. So he went ahead and just smashed a car’s window… apparently, out of great frustration because no one would point him to the direction of some dealer’s stash. A bartender related the following about Pete Doherty: “He was drinking shots and constantly asking where to get cocaine.” Pete Doherty is probably hoping that his short time spent in prison might enable him to make a few contacts and procure his little powder… either that, or he just wants to see how a German prison is like… you know, a small change of air.

It seems Jennifer Lopez’s little accident at the American Music Awards has not gone without some serious damage: the singer’s behind has been very much affected. This is what Jennifer Lopez said about the unfortunate event: “I have a bruised bone. What happened was one of the dancers’ backs was slippery from sweat and lights and everything. We never bargained for that because they always had T-shirts on in rehearsal. So they were bare-backed, didn’t have shirts on for the performance, and when I stepped on their backs my feet got wet. So when I landed, it just slipped from under me.” A bruised bone? How can a bone be bruised? And moreover, what kind of shoes does Jennifer Lopez wear while performing that they slip so easily on sweaty flesh? They should make a law to prevent that.

It seems her mother’s warm advice and support didn’t do much for Fergie. In the aftermath of her husband’s affair, it seems Fergie has decided to take the easy way out and started popping drinks like they were skittles while on a night out with Kate Hudson and her boyfriend, A-Rod. Apparently, Fergie’s jumpstart was seeing the two share a solid and intimate relationship. It’s all downhill from here if somebody doesn’t stop Fergie. And where is Josh Duhamel during all of this? Is he drinking too… from a cocktail waitress somewhere in Vegas, getting a complimentary lap dance for every fifth cocktail or so?

It is not however about her own sexuality, but about that of a certain someone Pixie Lott used to go out with at some point whom she now thinks might be gay. This is what Pixie Lott related on the matter: “There was this one boy who I went out with for, like, a month. To be honest, most of the boys at Italia Conti were gay. I think that boy I went out with is actually gay now!” Well if he is now and wasn’t back then, Pixie Lott might want to wonder why that is. Could having dated her have changed the man so much? It must’ve been one hell of an experience.
