DJ Marc Mysterio has filed a lawsuit against Brandy for backing out of a deal to write and sing 32 bars of music on a track of his, even though he had already paid the washed up R&B singer $10,000. The DJ claims that he has somehow lost over $25,000 because of her. I think he’s just getting greedy. But the extra $15,000 could be because he booked some studio time in advance, hoping that Brandy follows through on the deal. This is why you don’t ask a has-been to contribute to your music. They may be desperate for a job but if you pay them upfront, it’s a risk you’re taking.

Brandy and her brother Ray J will be starring in a new reality show called ‘Brandy and Ray J: a Family Business’ which will center around their family, including parents Sonja and Willie and their music production business. VH1 has ordered 11 episodes of the hour-long series that will focus on Brandy raising her 7-year old daughter while working on a new album, Ray J starting a new project of some kind and mother Sonja easing out of her role in the family business. It doesn’t really sound interesting at all so I’m likely to pass on watching this one.

The pair also faked as husband and wife on MTV series “Brandy: A Special Delivery”, which documented their daughter’s birth but after their split up in 2003, Brandy said that the wedding never took place.
Lately Brandy Norwood, 29, told the press, “I lied because of the fear of what people would think and the pressure to be a good role model. Our relationship was very real, we just weren’t legally married.”
What a simple and real relationship they had!!!

The people of Jackson, Mississippi want R&B singer Brandy to be the Grand Marshal of their parade but want no part of her brother Ray J. Vehicular manslaughter charges versus semi-pro pornographer – yeah, I see which one weighs heavier. Apparently, they don’t.
The Clarion-Ledger reports that the City of Jackson officially had to ditch Ray J as a Grand Marshal of its annual Christmas parade after a press release came out on Tuesday that he’d be in the lead car with his sister. But Jackson Mayor Frank Melton assured that Ray J will be with him and not in the Grand Marshal car with Brandy.
