New Adam Lambert Video

Openly gay singer Adam Lambert has a new music video out for his latest single ‘If I Had You’. The 28-year old American Idol alum talked about the song saying “In addition to the fantastic beat and melody, the song’s lyrics are what really stand out to me. The message is one of Love. Over the past year, in addition to my unbelievable opportunities, I have also been faced with the unique challenge of staying positive in light of some critics and closed mindedness. My friends, family, and my devoted fans have been a key force in keeping me grounded.”

Adam Lamberts sets his goals

If all those pretty little starlets, actresses and girl musicians can just put their preferences out there, why shouldn’t Adam Lambert have a go at it too? This is what the almost winner of American Idol said in a recent interview: “I like pretty boys in their early-to-mid twenties. Make sure you print that.” Adam Lambert needn’t worry… it’s probably going to be present on every lamp post from here unto the ending of the world. Let’s see if he can manage to top Justin Bieber’s dreaded fever with a little concoction of his own and how far it manages to go.

Adam Lambert Joins Celebrity Treehouse

Adam Lambert is featured on Paper magazine’s Beautiful People issue where the 28-year old glam rock singer opened up about becoming a member of the celebrity treehouse. The American Idol alum said “I was fascinated with Madonna, so meeting her was pretty wild. In general, all of a sudden it’s like I’m part of this exclusive treehouse. Celebrity culture is really interesting. All of a sudden I have people coming up to me saying, ‘Hey! I like your work!’–and they’re people whose work I admire. Just to be considered a peer in this industry is quite surreal.” Adam also talked about possibly starring in a movie musical saying “I would love the opportunity to cross over into film or television. I think that would be really exciting, especially with movie musicals being so popular right now.”

Adam Lambert is Beautiful

Adam Lambert has been named one of Paper magazine’s Beautiful People of 2010. The 28-year old American Idol alum told the magazine that he often doesn’t feel like he’s being controversial. The singer shared “I’m just the same Adam I’ve always been, and in the circles I run in, it’s not all that shocking.” To him it isn’t, but for the people who are still trying to wrap their heads around the fact that he’s so flamboyant it is kind of controversial. Adam also named his favorite designers, naming Gareth Pugh, Alexander McQueen, Galliano and Dolce & Gabbana. Great choices!

Adam Lambert at the Grammys

Adam Lambert was rocking the right fashion when he arrived at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday for the 2010 Grammy Awards. The 28-year old American Idol alum was right to have been fashionable as the singer served as Entertainment Tonight’s fashion correspondent on the red carpet. How bad would it actually be if he decided to be his flashy self and be saying nasty things about other people’s fashions? Good for him and his job for the night that he decided to be more discreet. I wonder who made it on Adam’s best and worst dressed list.

Adam Lambert Talks Fashion

Adam Lambert is featured in the newest issue of Vman magazine’s Issue #17. The 28-year old singer is featured in the ‘How to Dress Like a Pop Star’ feature and spoke about where he found inspiration for his fashion. The American Idol alum said “What I do has been done before. It’s glam. I’m inspired by the ’70s and ’80s. Bowie is a huge influence. So are hair bands. Why must a crazy look necessarily be gay? Our society is more fearful, I guess. And they don’t party enough. Everyone was partying in the ’80s.” Adam will put his fashion skills to good use as he will be serving as a fashion correspondent for Entertainment Tonight’s Grammy coverage on Monday.

Adam Lambert makes peace with ABC

Apparently Adam Lambert has recently met with a couple of representatives from the great kingdom of ABC and discussed the terms of peace between the two factions. When he was asked if he was hurt by ABC’s cruel treatment of him, Adam Lambert replied with the following: “I’m surprised! I’m like, ‘Really. Is it that big of a deal?’” Well, well, Adam Lambert is quite the negotiator, isn’t he? As the old saying goes: forgive, but don’t forget… or at least pretend to forgive until you get a chance to get even, right? Adam Lambert now has an open window to dream up some very delightful schemes for ABC.

Adam Lambert’s fourth time

After repeatedly canceling his performances, it seems ABC is looking to try and make up with Adam Lambert. It seems that he has been invited to perform on “The View”. This is what Adam Lambert tweeted about this new turn of events: “Hey friends! I will be performing and hanging w the ladies of ABC’s The View Thursday the 10th!” He seems very optimistic about this one? Who knows, maybe this time ABC will really let him perform, but most likely only if Adam Lambert promises to behave himself and play nice with his band… no more funny stuff, now!

Chris Brown takes over from Adam Lambert

An ironic twist of events is unfolding. While Adam Lambert’s performances are apparently more than Good Morning America can handle, Chris Brown is just fine as the singer will be appearing on an interview where he too will speak about the Rihanna incident. A source from ABC said the following about Chris Brown’s upcoming interview: “The network is giving a mixed message — that it doesn’t trust someone who shocked with an unpredictable show and a gay kiss, but then it is happy to go ahead with Chris Brown, who was convicted of felony assault. Chris Brown’s interview was booked way before Adam Lambert took to the stage. It is to give him a chance to respond to Rihanna’s interview. The possibility of him performing a song will be worked out next week.” Well now, Chris Brown finally gets to tell his side of the story and mess things up even more, while Adam Lambert just stays and watches. That might not be entirely fair.

More on Adam Lambert

The journalist who interviewed Adam Lambert for Out Magazine has released a statement detailing her part in what unfolded with the singer’s people. Part of the statement reads “I still wasn’t prepared for what happened when I showed up at the 19 Entertainment offices for the interview. I briefly met Adam, and then the publicist and I walked out to the balcony, at which point I was cautioned against making the interview “too gay,” or, “you know, gay-gay.” Specifically I was discouraged from asking about the March on Washington that upcoming weekend or other political topics.” It’s interesting to note though that the magazine’s editor and the journalist aren’t pointing any fingers at the American Idol alum directly but merely putting the ball in his court to see how he will respond. They’re basically calling him out to either be a figure for the gay community or just another cog in the mainstream music machine.

Adam Lambert wants to be Judas

Well, Adam Lambert has now made it pretty clear what side of the grid-iron he wants to play for. On the idea of a remake of Jesus Christ Superstar, Adam Lambert expressed his wants as to the part he should receive: “I heard they’re trying to do a remake of Jesus Christ Superstar and I want to play Judas. I’m going to start publicly campaigning for it. I think a movie would be really cool!” Whoah, whoah! Why Judas? Sure, he probably was a bit emo in his own way, but why doesn’t Adam Lambert go with somebody with a better reputation… why not Peter for example, or even Thomas.

Adam Lambert is Beyonce

If you’re going to find an artist to compare Adam Lambert to, don’t compare him with any of the other American Idol alums like David Cook or Chris Daughtry. The singer would more likely be compared to Beyonce. Adam knows that people have mixed views regarding how he’s managing his image but he insists that he’s no different than the diva in how he does his thing. Adam said “People look at me and immediately say, ‘Oh, he’s doing the musical-theater thing’. But if you look at most female pop stars right now, how are they any less theater? Beyoncé is doing ‘Single Ladies’ with two girls in character shoes and leotards, doing [Bob] Fosse choreography from ‘Sweet Charity’ and ‘West Side Story.’ The dress-up supports that; the fantasy element supports it. People want to talk about whether I have rock cred, whether I’m selling out, the theatricality, the gay stuff. … Chill out! And just enjoy yourself.”

Adam Lambert is Indulgent

Adam Lambert recently had an interview with OK Magazine where he talked about his indulgences. The American Idol alum said “I’m trying to eat better and avoid the carbs, but I had a whole basket of white bread with lots of butter from room service.” Well that’s not so bad. And speaking of food, the singer said that if he was going to die, the last meal that he would have will “Probably a really expensive steak and a whole bottle of wine to myself.” There’s nothing wrong with a big chunk of red meat and a nice bottle of wine.

Adam Lambert to Come Out

After a lot of speculation, a magazine source is saying that Adam Lambert is getting geared up to officially come out on the next cover of Rolling Stone. No one has confirmed anything regarding the matter though. I can’t say I’m surprised since that’s how things go when it comes to the American Idol runner up’s sexuality anyway. I think that it will just be nice to come out with it and just move on already. I honestly don’t think it’s an issue but it’s just Adam who’s been making it into one. It’s the singer’s lame idea of keeping our interests on him.

American Idol judge says Adam Lambert’s sexuality never unclear

SPL102697_010

Kara DioGuardi, a judge on American Idol, has said contestant Adam Lambert is openly gay and was never in the closet.

Questions about Lambert’s sexuality have dogged the show amid continuing controversy about the crowning of Kris Allen as winner.

DioGuardi was asked by talk show queen Barbara Walters whether Lambert’s sexuality influenced voters.

“Well, first of all, I hope not … because we should be judging on talent and viability in the music industry and they both [Lambert and Allen] had that.”

She added: “I don’t think that Adam [Lambert] was ever in [the closet] … I think he was always openly out.”

DioGuardi was one of the co-writers of the winner’s “first single” that was to be recorded.

Lambert has not come out as gay and told an interviewer people should calm down and “keep speculating” on the matter, it was reported.

Kris Allen Wins American Idol

Kris Allen was called the dark horse of the competition and was clearly the underdog, but in the greatest upset in American Idol history since Chris Daughtry was eliminated, Kris Allen was named as season 8’s winner. When everyone from the judges to the producers to even Kris Allen himself thought that Adam Lambert was going to win, being announced as the winner was a big shock.

Adam Lambert VS Kris Allen: Producer’s Choice

The American Idol Final 2 sang their hearts out for their second song of the night that was chosen by one of the show’s producers, Simon Fuller. What happened to Clive Davis? Adam Lambert sang ‘A Change is Gonna Come’ while Kris Allen sang ‘What’s Goin On’ by Marvin Gaye. Again, it seemed like it was only Simon Cowell who judged it as a competition as he said that Adam won the round this time saying that Adam was back in the game after his performance and that Kris was just too laid back in his performance for such a big night.

Clay Aiken Got Blocked

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, American Idol wasn’t afraid to give Clay Aiken the cold shoulder when the former contestant showed up to the set last week in a bid to reach out to final two-performer Adam Lambert for a possible duets album and a concert tour. A staff member said “To say the least, it was tense around here when Clay showed up — and boy, did they hustle him off the premises as fast as possible. If he didn’t get the hint after that — he never will.” Clay was the first Idol contestant to leave the show’s management/producers 19 Entertainment, taking Kelly Clarkson with him. It shouldn’t be a surprise that he’s not very welcome into the VIP room.

American Idol Does Movies Theme Song

The Final 7 of American Idol take on songs from movies this week after spending some time getting mentored by producing movie legend Quentin Tarantino. Allison Iraheta was up first singing ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’. Anoop Desai took on ‘Everything I Do I Do It For You’. Adam Lambert sang ‘Born to Be Wild’. Matt Giraud sang ‘Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman’. Danny Gokey sang ‘Endless Love’. Kris Allen sand ‘Falling Slowly’. Lil Rounds took on singing ‘The Rose’. Highlights for this week are Allison Iraheta and Adam Lambert. The rest were just ok.
