The rapper recently admitted that the recession has hit his own financial endeavors as well. 50 Cent said the following about how the recession affected his ongoing business affairs: “The credit crunch has hit rap. I buy diamonds on a very regular basis. But now I am selling my old stuff before I get something new. These are times when you learn about the value of money. If you don’t lose money in this recession it means you didn’t have enough to start off with. Sure, I lost a few million but that’s because I have so much. Any businessman who wants a piece of the future should learn from me.” How utterly Kanye West-ish that sounds! Looks like 50 Cent is getting a wee bit ahead of himself in the business department… but only a wee, just like the sum of money he supposedly “lost”.
50 Cent finally wins one over his crazy baby mama Shaniqua Tompkins. The deranged ex, who blames the rapper for burning down his house where she was squatting, was keeping his son Marquise away from him. But now, a Long Island judge has granted 50 an unrestricted visit with his son from August 3 to August 12. Both parents had to take a drug test before the judge would consider visitations. Obviously, 50 passed. Shaniqua tested positive for cough medicines though. Shaniqua also claims that 50 is preventing her from using her Land Rover SUV, which I’m sure was bought by 50, by keeping guards at the site of the house that burned down. That case will continue on September 15.
We all have heard about 50 Cent’s infamous bet with Kanye West. Unfortunately, it seems like it wasn’t a real bet because 50 Cent who was the loser is not quitting music. He got fans worried when he cancelled his entire European tour earlier this week, but now he is trying to make it up to his disappointed fans by doing a series of UK shows later in the year. He’s is the one who will make a 1000 promises, commitments and bets and if he is the one on the winning side then he will go and tell the whole that he made the bet because he knew he will win and that self promoting stuff. But the real fun is when he loses and fails to fulfill his commitments then he will go into a hiding and cancel concerts and tell that he wasn’t supported well by his record company and so on. The funny thing is that his new UK tour is just about the same time when his rival Kanye will be hitting up the UK for his own tour. Now will this be another loss in terms of ticket sales or can 50 Cent turn the table on Kanye.
Jay-Z thrilled the studio audience when he joined West for a performance of new song “Big Brother” – and no one was more surprised than 50, who was also a guest on the show. It is clear that 50 Cent is threatened by the very presence of Kanye. Curtis can’t Rap. Dr. Dre and Eminem made him. IN DA CLUB sounds good without words. Dre and Eminem make money when they produce an Act. So they made big money on Curtis. They own him. West wrote for Jay-Z. He thinks he’s God’s gift to Rap. Some of his songs are whacked. He wants to be an intelligent Rapper. To me the voice makes the song. Biggie, Fabulous, The Game and Snoop have the right voices. Curtis’ voice is terrible. The beats by Dre and the lyrics by Eminem make Curtis who he is. A lot of Rappers are terrible and a lot of singers are terrible. They just don’t know it. And acting is not the answer either. Some of the roles are terrible also. But such is life.

50 Cent’s new album ‘Curtis’ is behind Kanye West’s new album ‘Graduation’ in terms of sales. First week scans based on early store sales reports show that Kanye is selling 575,000-700,000 units while 50 is only selling in the 500,000-600,000 range, as reported by Billboard magazine.
If getting beaten by your rival isn’t enough, 50 may come in third place on the charts this week. Country artist Kenny Chesney and his ‘Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates’ album is selling in the range of 400,000-550,000 units.
Ouch! A rap mogul beaten by a country singer? Give up 50. Leave while you still have some dignity left.
Rapper 50 Cent has reignited his feud with Kanye West, insisting the hip-hop star “sucks.” The rap rivals have been trading insults since they realized their new albums would be released on the same day next month. 50 IS SCARED! Kanye doesn’t sound like a robot, T-Pain does! Kanye is absolutely unique… He’s another outkast, Pharell, Common… all very unique and more importantly nonviolent. 50 Cents sounds very monotone and just 50 percent good not a 100 percent good. All his songs are similar in sound and lyrics and the raps with on enthusiasm or melody. That’s the music part but over all they both suck because even Kanye doesn’t miss a single chance to take a jibe at 50 and the same goes with 50. And I don’t think that there will be an end to their feud sometime soon as once the albums are in the market and which ever album starts selling better or worse then again the two shall be making claims and having a few bad things to say against each other.

50 Cent was left red-faced at the B.E.T. Awards on Tuesday night after fans spotted him lip-syncing his new single onstage. Sources tell MediaTakeOut.com the rapper was caught out when he mimed the lyrics to Amusement Park over an instrumental version of the track mistakenly played by his DJ Whoo Kidd. A fan says, “No one in the audience really knew what was going on. It just seemed like he cut the performance short… But now that I know he was lip-syncing, I think it’s hilarious.” They get paid to sing at these awards night and they have the fame and name already to be called to sing. But they do not have their heart in the music; he might be thinking of attending the night party already and forgot which song would be played. His DJ too would have not spoken to him about the record that would be played and its just miscommunication all together that has brought about this hilarious situation.
