When Amy Winehouse heard the news that her hubby Blake Fielder Civil was released from jail, something inside of her apparently exploded and made her realized just how much she still loves him. Wino is supposedly planning on returning to London from her months-long stay in St. Lucia in an effort to win back Blake. A source told the UK’s Sun “Hearing Blake was out brought lots of emotions back for Amy. She feels like she was the last to know he was getting released and that hurt. She is desperate to see him again and wants to work things out. She still loves him.”

Using celebrity photos to promote your products can be a sales boost but not when the celebrities did not agree to advertise the product for you. This was the painful lesson learned by Silver Cross Ltd., a baby carriage maker, when celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony sued them for $30 million for allegedly using their photo to market their strollers. The suit was filed by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony last Wednesday at the California District Court. The defendant company Silver Cross Ltd has outlets in the United States and in the United Kingdom.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony claims that a photo of them using the Silver Cross Balmoral Pram Carriage was used by the company to promote their product in their website and in various advertising media. The suit indicated that Silver Cross used the couple’s names, image, likeness and photographs knowingly and intentionally to sell their high-end baby carriages worldwide. By doing this, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony said the company capitalized on their hard work and reputation.

American Idol finalist Joanna Pacitti may have been kicked out from the show no thanks to her celebrity connections but she is keeping things in stride and is not even bitter about the whole experience as it has opened a lot of doors for her. Joanna Pacitti made it to the Top 36 in the talent search but she was dropped from the show after the producers discovered she had previous record deals and knew some executives at 19 Entertainment which is also involved with American Idol. Her being kicked out of the talent search also paved the way for Joanna Pacitti and “Dancing with the Stars” star Mark Ballas to publicly go out as a couple.

The 22-year old Mark Ballas and Joanna Pacitti were seen at the Hollywood premiere of the Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience. Mark Ballas said Joanna Pacitti is the most supportive person in his life and they are spending a lot of time together. Joanna Pacitti and Mark Ballas have been friends for a long time but have started dating only eight months ago. The relationship had a chance to grow when Mark Ballas was training in north California with Kristi Yamaguchi of Season 6 since the AI hopeful was based there at that time. Mark Ballas said the two of them have so many things in common including their love for music art and dancing. Joanna Pacitti said they have the perfect situation since they both understand not only each other but also their schedules and their musical inclination.

These days, Lady Gaga is always gallivanting across the globe, going from one phenomenal performance to the next! Last week was no exception when she and Brandon Flowers (of The Killers) joined the Pet Shop Boys onstage at the 2009 Brit Awards held at London’s Earls Court. The legendary duo were this year’s recipients of the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award, and serenaded the audience with a medley of their greatest hits, during which Lady Gaga provided supporting vocals on “What Have I Done to Deserve This?” and “It’s a Sin”. Almost everyone in Hollywood has spoken about it, Chris Brown has also come out with a half-assed statement about it, now it’s Rihanna’s turn to talk – sort of. Reps for the Barbadian singer are speaking out for her. In a statement released last Friday, Rihanna’s publicist said “At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.” Stay strong! For her sake and the sake of all battered women everywhere, I hope Rihanna gets her justice.

New Kids On The Block have just premiered the video for their song “2 in the Morning.” Shot at a mansion in Pacific Palisades, CA, the video follows a feuding couple throughout the house. Donnie describes the concept of the piece as “somewhat based on a very literal translation of the song with a twist.”

Chris Cornell has added ten more dates to his spring tour in support of his forthcoming album, Scream – produced by Timbaland and released by Mosley Music/Interscope on March 10. The 28-date tour now includes a Canadian stop in Vancouver in addition to U.S. cities such as Denver, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Tickets for the 10 newly announced shows go on sale to the public this Friday, February 27. All previously
announced shows are on sale now. Scream showcases a new, seductive sound – dark, multi-layered and full of puzzles and surprises. The songs bring a cinematic scope to Cornell’s performances with potent visual imagery echoing the non-stop musical assault from his internationally acclaimed live band. “Musically, this is the most ambitious thing I’ve been a part of. It’s almost like a movie soundtrack,” says Cornell, who will also be playing other music from his two-decade, 14 –album career.

Cyberspace is the place where you can get a complete copy of ‘No Line On The Horizon’, the latest album offering of the Irish rock band U2. The actual release date of the album was slated for March of 2009 but the album has been leaked onto the internet and it was caught by thousands of fans none of whom would have let go off the opportunity to have the album on their iPods and other music storage devices.

It is said that the file sharing site Pirate Bay was were the album source was available and nearly 100,000 surfers had downloaded the entire album in just a few hours after it become available online.

Yeah friends must have sent a word of mouth to other friends and it must have spread across like wild fire, just imagine that you can have a new album for download for absolutely no charge it makes you feel rich again doesn’t it.

You begin to think why I wasted all that money in the past over some really crap music albums and here I have a real gem of an album from U2 for free. I however missed out but surely now that its out in the open people would be uploading the whole thing on some other sharing sites. The album is in public domain now!

It’s been mentioned that Clay Aiken has been rumored to be splitting from his record label RCA. Forget the rumor part as Billboard reports that the former American Idol contestant and his label did indeed split and that he actually left the label a couple of months ago. It looks like Clay didn’t do so well with his last album ‘On My Way Here’. The album only sold about 159,000 in the US. By comparison, his 2003 debut album sold 2.7 million. I guess people got tired of him. Kudos to him though for making his 15 minutes of fame last longer than the other American Idol rejects.

Welsh singer Duffy has managed to achieve a hat-trick of awards at the British Music Awards. Duffy also picked up the most coveted prize of the evening that being for the Best British Album of the Year.

Giving her acceptance speech the singer could have manage to hold back her tears and said that all of her hard work has finally paid off and is a result of “5 years’ work”, but by the evening end her hard work really paid off for her as she bagged two more awards, one for Best British Female Singer of the Year and the other being the British breakthrough award.

I think that that’s where Amy Winehouse has lost her path, she too jumped onto the scene with a lot of hard work and still is a talented singer but she has the money now so she feel what the hell with talent when I have money.

All struggling artist put in a lot of hard work and when fame strikes they get carried away, the greats or successful singers are those who balance fame with dedication and when you can do that you become someone like Britney Spears. Yet I would personally not like to have a life like hers’.

She may have just had a baby but that doesn’t mean that she’s not a hot commodity. According to reports, the Oscar people are desperate to have rapper MIA to rally like she did for the Grammys. Organizers want her to sing the Oscar nominated song ‘O Saya’ from ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ at the show this Sunday night. The producers allegedly even offered the new mom a large bed to sing from onstage. The UK’s Guardian also reports that the Oscar people are also considering her request to appear via hologram just like will.i.am did on CNN. I have a feeling that she’ll choose to stay at home and just chill with her new boy.

The wife of R&B star Usher has been released from the São Paulo’s Sírio-Libanês Hospital last Tuesday. Tameka Raymond spent 11 days in the Brazil hospital after a botched liposuction surgery. Usher cancelled his Grammy Award performance and immediately flew to Brazil last February 7 when he learned of his wife’s medical emergency. Usher was however spotted boarding a states-bound flight at the São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport early this week. There were no reports whether Tameka is still in Brazil or has already left for the United States.

The 37-year old Tameka, who gave birth to their second son last December, reportedly suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest as she was being given anesthesia for the liposuction procedure. She was revived but to avoid unnecessary complications she was placed in an induced coma for 24 hours. Usher’s representatives kept everything under wraps except for a statement saying Tameka had an emergency medical concern but was fine. Details of the emergency were however confirmed by plastic surgeon Silvio Sterman’s spokeswoman.

You can kick those break up rumors aside because the ladies of Girls Aloud aren’t going away any time soon. According to new reports, the British girl group has just signed on to do three more albums with their label. The first of the three in the deal is scheduled to come out next year. That’s pretty exciting news! I wonder if they will be heading to America and try to make their US break. I think their highly capable of breaking into the US market. They should try it. Girls Aloud rules! They need to go to the US and bring back the girl bands.

Chris Brown’s stepfather and father have said their piece about the domestic violence incident involving Brown and Rihanna. Now, it’s Rihanna’s father’s turn to speak and Ronald Fenty said he would “move on” if he were in his daughter’s shoes. He said you don’t really know somebody completely, you just think so. Reports show that “Rihanna” aka the woman who reported to the police that she was being attacked by Brown suffered bruises on the face. The 20-year old singer is back in Barbados to seek comfort in her family.

There are discrepancies however in Fenty’s statements because one report quoted him as saying there is some bruising on Rihanna but other reports quoted him as saying he has not really seen her or her bruises. Whatever it is, Fenty hopes Rihanna will learn from her experience to do good and stand up for women all over the world. Fenty said Rihanna will be all right and will speak out at some point.

US singer Beyonce has opened up to meeting some her most special fans when she takes off on her tour but that will cost her fans more than a thousand British Pounds or to be precise it would cost each fan £1,265 if then signup to meet the singer upclose and personal during a select few concerts while on tour.

The cost is 5 times more than the usual ticket price set for Beyonce concerts but then those who sign up will receive extra special treatment from the millionaire singer will as part of the ‘Meet & Greet’ package allow such fans entrance to a pre-show party in an “exclusive VIP room’ and additionally there shall be a ‘specially chosen luxury dinner buffet.”

Yeah that’s a fool proof design to grab more money from fans to fill her bank balances and I do not even remotely think she has charity on her mind, she is raking in the money to meet out the expenses of another luxury filled vacations with her boyfriend Jay-Z.

The current economic down turn has eroded Jay-Z off millions and Beyonce is going to pay the finances this time round.
