After the infamous and over talked about “Miley-gate” scandal, she has been welcomed back with open arms into Disney.
They probably missed their little cash cow that they decided to allow Miley to celebrate her 16th birthday party in public at Disneyland.
According to Entertainment Tonight:
The “Hannah Montana” star is also sharing the spotlight during the private party with some deserving young people from Youth Service America who’ve been making a difference in their communities.

Entertainment Tonight also learned that Miley’s fans can get a chance to join her as she celebrates her birthday.

Disney is going to sell a limited number of tickets ($250 each) to the very exclusive event; “Miley’s Sweet 16 — Share the Celebration.”

These tickets will go on sale on August 30 at 9am PDT.

Leona Lewis has recorded a charity song with Mariah Carey and Beyonce Knowles.

The British star has teamed up with 14 of the world’s top female singers other top female singers – including Rihanna, Fergie and Sheryl Crow – for ‘Just Stand Up’ for the Stand Up To Cancer Charity, which will be released to download from September 2.

The super-group will perform the track on stage for in the Stand Up To Cancer benefit show, which is set to air simultaneously on three US television networks – ABC, NBC and CBS – on September 5.

The full list of artists appearing on the track are: Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Beyonce Knowles, Mary J. Blige, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Fergie, LeAnn Rimes, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Melissa Etheridge, Carrie Underwood, Ciara and Keyshia Cole.

Stand Up To Cancer is an initiative of the Entertainment Industry Foundation which calls on the showbiz world to help fight cancer.

Other stars expected to take part in the television special include Jennifer Aniston, Lance Armstrong, Salma Hayek, Meryl Streep, Forest Whitaker, Reese Witherspoon and Christina Applegate – who revealed this week she had beaten breast cancer.

They have the number one album in America right now so what better way to honor the Jonas Brothers than having them be immortalized in wax? The band of brothers attended the unveiling on their new wax figures at the Madame Tussaud’s in Washington, DC earlier this week. The real Jonas Brothers may have their hearts stolen already but who says you can’t cozy up next to a wax figure of them. They look pretty authentic enough anyway. You can hardly tell which is which if the brothers stand next to their statue and stay perfectly still. Now Jonas mania can live forever.

Malaysia’s Islamic opposition party has urged the government to cancel a concert by Avril Lavigne saying that the Canadian singer’s dances are too sexy. The youth wing of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party said that her concert would promote wrong values ahead of the country’s August 31 independence day. A party official says “It is considered too sexy for us. … It’s not good for viewers in Malaysia. We don’t want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models.” Malaysia requires all performers to wear clothes without obscene or drug-related images and be covered from chest to knees. They must also refrain from jumping, shouting, hugging and kissing on stage. I was all for saying no to Avril but come on! Those laws are so last millennium!

Britney Spears is looking fabulous in a white bikini on the latest cover of OK! Magazine. The 26-yer old recovering starlet showed off her new body and revealed just how she’s made her stunning transformation. She talked about eating right saying “I’m the healthiest I’ve been all my life. My diet has a lot to do with my getting into shape. I have no sugar… I try to do just 1,200 calories a day. It may sound like it’s not much, but it’s actually a lot of food if you eat the right things.” She also says that she’s cut out a guilty pleasure saying “Frappuccinos – gone. (laughs) I do still drink coffee, but just with Equal.” Brit also works out five days a week at an outside gym and at the fully-equipped gym in her house. She’s looking all the more ready to make a comeback.

The Latino superstar, who has long been the advocate for kids, has become the proud father of two cute baby boys. He has been devoting time to charities that work to prevent sexual exploitation of kids.

As per the official statement of the rep of famous singer, “The children delivered via surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky’s full-time care”. The rep also confirmed for the first time that the singer’s spawn were delivered via a surrogate mother several weeks ago.

Ricky must be enjoying a wonderful time off-cameras with his children. It has also been told that Ricky will append the rest of 2008 out of public spotlight in order to spend time with kids. There has been no word so far about the identity of the boys’ mother.

The Jonas Brothers are going to top the album charts in the US in the coming weeks. That’s not really much of a surprise but the predictions of how well they’re going to do are. The band of brothers released their new album ‘A Little Bit Longer’ last week and it’s debut numbers are bigger than Miley Cyrus’. Miley topped the album charts by selling 371,000 copies of her album ‘Breakout’. The Jonas Brothers are poised to top the charts with a debut week in the 725,000 area. That’s double what Miley did! The brothers are also the first group ever in history to sell more than 100,000 digital downloads for 3 consecutive singles with ‘Burning Up’ at 183,000, ‘Play My Music’ at 109,000 and ‘Pushin Me Away’ at 116,000.

Madonna’s publicist Liz Rosenberg says that rumors that the Queen of Pop wants to adopt a little girl named Mercy from Malawi are just that – rumors. She states “There is no truth to this rumor. It’s an old one – wasn’t true then or now. Madonna is starting her tour in a week.” The singer’s rep didn’t say that Madonna will never adopt again though. Maybe it’s something that can happen after the tour. If it does happen I hope she decides to adopt some place else where adoption laws aren’t so strict. I doubt she wants to go through another process that would last several years.

After a four month long romance and repeated rumors, at last Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have broken up. Mayer has confirmed his split from the beautiful 39 year old actress Jennifer Aniston. Mayer has also insisted that the break up was amicable.

While talking to reporters Mayer said, “People are different, people have different chemistry. I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right”.

The 30 year old star, John Mayer also praised Jennifer Aniston saying, “Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I have ever met”.

There are also speculations that it was Jennifer Aniston who called off their relationship due to Mayer’s increasing demand of money and his bad publicity with femme side of life.

Britney Spears is looking mighty fit these days and she might just be fit enough to be part of the VMAs. The 26-year old singer has actually just done a spot for MTV’s Video Music Awards with first-time host Russell Brand. A source says “Britney looked really good. It was improvisational questions and answers with Russell Brand just like [other promo guest stars] LL Cool J and Pete Wentz did. Russell joked about there being sexual tension, and Britney shot back, ‘I don’t feel the tension’. The other joke was about no one knowing who Russell was so she called him by the wrong name. LL called him Russell Bland and Britney called him Russell Brown.”

Jessica Simpson continues on her country singing escapades as she performed at the 2008 Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis, Indiana last week. The 28-year old blonde bombshell sang several songs from her last album and also covered Dusty Springfield’s ‘Son of a Preacher Man’ and John Michael Montgomery’s ‘Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)’. Her dad and manager Joe Simpson was escorted by seven state troopers when he walked through the members of the audience. I guess that pretty much indicates how much fear he has of the country music community for having to put his daughter where no one wants her to be.

Sir Paul McCartney has shunned expensive hotels in favor of camping. The 66-year-old musician is currently on a US road trip with girlfriend Nancy Shevell, and the pair decided to spend a night under the stars when they arrived at Bennett Springs State Park in Missouri last weekend.

A fellow camper said: “It was incredible to see one of the world’s richest musicians going back to basics. They didn’t seem to have a care in the world as they laughed and joked with each other.”

After spending the night in their tent, the couple further amazed onlookers when they set off on a hike in stifling heat.

A source explained to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “It was nearly 30 degrees but the heat didn’t slow them down at all. They were like two teenagers on a first date – it was really sweet. They were seen tucking into sandwiches. Paul even had a cheeky bottle of stout which he had packed away.”

Sources are saying that Hilary Duff is pretty close to parting ways with her label Hollywood Records, the same label as Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. It’s being said that the old excuse of creative differences is being given for the split which is still being finalized. Hollywood Records has actually been pushing Hil to release a new record before the year ends. However, because of her desire for a new home, Hilary will now be releasing a greatest hits album in the fall to quickly end her contract. It’s also being said that Miley was a factor in the split as “Hilary didn’t think the label has been giving her enough support and promotion as some of the other acts.”

Katy Perry is becoming one unstoppable force as she was once again in the top spot with ‘I Kissed a Girl’. Last week’s chart-topping moment marked her seventh week in a row at number one! Her song could easily end up being the biggest single of the entire year if it keeps up its pace. Other highlights from the Billboard 100 aren’t too shabby either with Rihanna having not one but two entries in the top five, ‘Disturbia’ at number three and ‘Take a Bow’ at number four. Coldplay is at number five with ‘Viva La Vida’. The Jonas Brothers debuted on the top ten with ‘Tonight’ which is supported mainly by digital downloads.

Tammy Wynette sang one of the most famous country songs of them all, and now Dixie Chick Emily Robison and her husband, singer Charlie Robison, have carried it out.

Reports claim that Charlie Robison filed for divorce in January. The couple were at the Bexar County Courthouse on Wednesday when the divorce was finalized. The divorce filing states their marriage had “become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities.”

Well it’s anyone’s guess what that could mean.

Nigel Lythgoe has responded to a story that he’s leaving American Idol. In a statement read in part, Lythgoe says “Due to the huge success of ‘So You Think You Can Dance,’ my summer will be taken up by travels to South Africa, Australia and Canada to work on local versions of the show. I will step back from my day-to-day producing work on ‘American Idol’ and will be devoting my time to a new venture with Simon Fuller. I have very much enjoyed my personal and professional relationship with Simon. He is without doubt, a man of vision, and I look forward to partnering with him on new and exciting challenges in all forms of entertainment.”

The Jonas Brothers arrived at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards which was held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday, August 3, 2008 in Los Angeles, California with no idea just how big of winners they were going to be. Kevin, Joe and Nick were up for six surfboards this year and wouldn’t you know it? They won all of them namely Choice Male Hottie, Choice Music: Breakout Group, Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon Male, Choice Music: Single for ‘When You Look Me in the Eyes” and Choice Music: Love Song for “When You Look Me in the Eyes”. Was there ever any question that they would rake up awards? Teens voted for the winners.

Previous spoilers on Madonna’s ‘Sticky & Sweet’ tour set list have been pretty disappointing as some song choices have been questionable. However, the Queen of Pop continued to tweak her set list since then and the changes are fabulous! It’s completely packed with hits.

Amy Winehouse sings about her favorite food

s on her new album. The ‘Rehab’ singer – who was recently hospitalized after she suffered convulsions at her London home – is currently working on her third album and has taken inspiration from her favourite meals while writing tracks.

A source said: “When Amy’s working she gets loads of Caribbean food delivered to the studio. It can get a bit messy sometimes. But that’s where Amy gets her soul from – good old-fashioned soul food.”

The 24-year-old singer has previously revealed she often makes meatballs for her friends after nights out, and one of her new songs includes the line: “I can cook, chicken soup, meatballs, a good chicken – jerk and fried.”

Amy has been trying to stick to a healthy diet in order to put on weight since she left hospital, which could be the reason behind the new lyrics.

The source said: “The lyrical content is a little off the wall. But Amy writes about what’s on her mind – and she goes all out. It’s only in its early stages, but Amy is really excited about getting back to what she does best – making great music.”

The troubled singer has been revisiting her past on other songs on the album.

The source added: “She’s working on one track which talks about her upbringing as a Jewish girl. The song brings her back to happier days when she didn’t have a care in the world.”

Alanis Morissette overcame “love addiction” after splitting from ex Ryan Reynolds – by having loads of no-strings sex.

Isn’t it ironic… don’t you think?

The singer was determined to beat her lifelong habit of turning dates into relationships after her engagement to Ryan came to a traumatic end in 2006.

And she achieved this by throwing herself into a lifestyle of meaningless sex and throwaway dates.

She said: “No-strings relationships have helped cure me of love addiction. All my life I’ve been in long-term monogamous relationships. I had to break that pattern by not allowing myself to have a relationship for a year, stopping myself from committing to men. I haven’t been celibate. I’ve had lots of dates and lots of sex, but I haven’t been pushing to turn a date into a relationship. This has been a huge thing for me.”
