As if we didn’t see her as a fantastic idol for all those who suffer breast cancer to look at and think, “if she got through it I can”, Kylie Minogue settles the feeling that she is a true heroine.

After being diagnosed with brest cancer in 2005 Kylie battled through it and is now in remission. But even at her lowest moments the pop idol never considered quitting. The 39 year old said she always knew she would be a pop star regardless of what was happening.

Kylie, whose music career has spanned over 20 years, said: “You do tend to hear more about people who have said, ‘that’s it. I’m going to go in a completely different direction.’ And I think I would have had a valid excuse. But that’s not me. I’m not finished. I get joy out of what I do. I’m ready to go on.”

The mini pop princess has also confessed she hates talking about her cancer battle and tries not to think about it if she can. Who can blame her?

The ‘2 Hearts’ singer, who underwent months of gruelling chemotherapy treatment, said: “I don’t have a nice little phrase to summarise what that meant, or what it did, or how I’ve changed. I don’t like to talk about it too much. I’m sure the day will come where I will be more forward about it.”

British girl group Atomic Kitten is back. However, their supposed comeback single isn’t really up to par. I can’t believe they decided to come out with this after the success they had before.

The group has been off the scene for a couple of years now and the ladies decided to return with a rather uninspiring, but not all that bad, remake of the Dionne Warwick classic ‘Anyone Who Had a Heart’. It’s almost like they had no other choice but to do it. If this is the best that they have, they should have just forgotten ever making a comeback.

Madonna was spotted as she made her way home in her gym clothes after a workout in London on Friday morning. The Queen of Pop is soon to work together with Justin Timberlake who announced earlier this week that he’s going to London to film a music video with her. He revealed that piece of news on Ellen to which the talk show host replies with “You’re gonna do a video with Madonna. That’s gonna be an amazing video, that’s gonna be very cool. I can’t wait to see it and I can’t wait to see you.”

Madonna’s stylist also revealed that she will have a more edgy and more fresh look for the video with no more disco.

The mourning is over for ‘Smile’ singer Lily Allen as she was spotted having dinner with friends at The Ivy on Wednesday night. She was then spotted going out for a good time to the Groucho Club in SoHo. Well that didn’t last long, did it? Lily just suffered a miscarriage a couple of weeks ago and now she’s already back to her partying ways. I guess there’s no attachment there since she wasn’t really that far along. Whatever the case may be, I guess she’s already dealt with it. I’m still not quite sure whether to say that it’s good for her or something.

Usually a home gym is in your basement / attic / shed. Wherever the missus will let you put it before declaring it’s in her way. Unless you are Madonna. In which case you could just buy a whole building and use that.

The superstar has turned her latest 12 million property purchase into a gym. The Hung Up hitmaker and her film director husband Guy Ritchie bought the 10-bedroom Georgian house in London, next door to their current home last June with plans to knocking through the divide in the two buildings to turn it into one extra-large mansion.

But the ambitious project was allegedly denied planning permission and the singer is now reported to have converted the spare building into her personal fitness centre to ensure her privacy.

Madonna currently exercises at her personal trainer, James D’Silva’s studio in St John’s Wood, but her fitness sessions have become so routine crowds of fans have begun to form outside the gym to catch a glimpse of the star as she arrives.

I thought kids were crazy for Hannah, but I didn’t realize they were this crazy. I can’t figure out, though, if he wanted to see her or hurt her.

A 16 year old boy boarded a plane in California and headed to Nashville with plans of hijacking the plane. He managed to get a pair of handcuffs, duct tape, and a rope on to the plane and also had a copy of the flight plan. He made plans to crash the plane into the arean where Hannah was performing.

He was caught and held until they landed in Nashville. He is being held in the Davidson County juvenile detention center.

Jennifer Lopez has been in hiding after he pregnancy came out but she and husband Marc Anthony were spotted as they arrived at New York City’s Gramercy Park Hotel for their baby shower on Saturday. The mom-to-be is huge! Twins can do that to you. According to an insider, the rooftop party décor had Swarovski crystals everywhere in both blue and pink, helping rumors further along that the singer is expecting twins – a boy and a girl.

The guest list for the party included JLo’s good friend. actress Leah Remini and designer Roberto Cavalli who gave a pink leopard crib to the soon-to-be-mom.

Simon Cowell has lost his sympathy for Britney Spears. He says that even though the rest of the world might think she’s lost her marbles, he believes she knows exactly what she’s doing.

Simon says, “Everyone thinks it’s breakdown this and breakdown that. From the kind of stunts she’s pulling now, I think she is the puppet master and completely in control.”

He goes on, “I really felt for her at one point, I thought she was heading for a meltdown and everything was out of control, but – especially over the past week – I thought she was honestly in control and, more to the point, wants to be in control.”

We all know that Pete Doherty isn’t from the normal boat. He’s a bit strange to say the least. And to confirm it I can report that his latest fashion trend is to wear girlfriend Portia Freeman’s bra.

A source said, “Pete is showing the same devotion to marathon now as he did do to drugs. It’s a much healthier obsession than heroin.”

The very sentimental Paula Abdul is said to be preparing for her big comeback show at the Super Bowl but it looks like the whole thing could be the easiest access to her biggest and most public meltdown yet. A source close to the once singer and familiar with the preparations says, in exact words, going to be “a massive disaster” and the whole thing is a “bad, bad idea”. Paula has already reportedly lost her voice in rehearsals and it’s being said that she isn’t going to sing live. The song she’s supposed to “perform” is being produced by fellow Idol judge Randy Jackson.

Amy Winehouse is once again teaming with music producer Mark Ronson to record a festive album of Christmas and Hanukkah songs. Say what? Ronson told Rolling stone that “She’s writing songs, and we talked about getting a studio. I have to finish a few other things first, but I imagine we’ll go into the studio this year. We’re talking about making a holiday record, with Christmas songs on one side and Hanukkah songs on the other. She’s got songs called, like, ‘Kosher Kisses’ and ‘Alone Under the Mistletoe.’ She was kind of f—— around, but I was like, ‘You have all these amazing records to play for Christmas, like Motown and Carla Thomas and the Charlie Brown Christmas, and unfortunately, us Jews have nothing that cool to listen to. So we should do something.”

I’ve already said that Avril Lavigne has settled her copyright infringement lawsuit with The Rubinoos. And now, the guys that sued her have made a statement further saying that the pop rocker is in the clear. The singer was sued back in July by Tommy Dunbar and James Gangwer over their 1979 song “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend”.

They have now renounced their suit and are saying that “We are satisfied that any similarities between the two songs resulted from Avril and Luke’s use of certain common and widely used lyrics. We therefore completely exonerate Avril and Luke from any wrongdoing of any kind in connection with the claims made by us in our lawsuit.”

Jennifer Lopez and her manager, music industry legend Irving Azoff, have severed ties and parted ways. Sources from Azoff’s camp say that he just fired the singer for being “unprofessional” and for allowing her husband Marc Anthony to “constantly meddle”.

The pregnant pop star reportedly got a letter from her manager last week detailing “in blunt terms” why he was ditching her as a client after less than a year’s partnership. It’s also being said that there was a “heated phone call” between JLo’s handlers and Azoff last week. However, Jen’s rep says that the stories of a bitter split are completely false and that it was JLo who did the firing on Friday with no drama.

They’re already off the Hannah Montana tour and their own tour is yet to start but that doesn’t mean that young girls all over the world are going to be deprived. The Jonas Brothers made many girls very happy on Saturday when the musical siblings showed up unannounced at the Gibson Ampitheater in LA where hundreds of fans were camped out to buy tickets for their upcoming solo show.

The tickets sold out so fast that the Brothers had to add two additional dates. All in all, their 3 scheduled shows at the Gibson sold out within mere minutes. Talk about Jonas power.

It’s nice to see some normality resides. Celebrities’ hating the paparazzi is normal. We’ve just been thrown off-guard a little recently with Britney’s new found d love for the annoying photographers.

Icelandic pop star certainly doesn’t share Brit’s love for them as she arrives in New Zealand. The quirky singer has allegedly attacked a photographer, tearing off his shirt as he tried to take her picture at Aukland International airport.

Glenn Jeffrey, an employee of the New Zealand Herald newspaper, was shocked by the 42-year-old’s violent outburst. He says, ” I took a couple of pictures… and as I turned and walked away, she came up behind me, grabbed the back of my black skivvy (long t-shirt) and tore it down the back.

“As she did this she fell to the ground. At no stage did I touch her or speak with her. ”

The incident was reported to police who are now believed to be looking into CCTV footage from the airport. This isn’t the first time Bjork has been in trouble for scuffles with the paparazzi. The star famously attacked a reporter in Thailand in 1996 but later apologised for the incident and no charges were brought.

The 34 year old drummer, who plays in KT’s backing band, popped the question on Christmas Day after surprising the the Suddenly I See singer at her adoptive parents home in St Andrews, Fife.

KT, 32, said: “Being an opportunist, I obviously said Yes. It feels smashing.” The couple have booked a venue for this September. KT added: “We’re gonna do the deed way up in the wild North.”

Rumours have been circulating regarding beauties Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez. The Hero singer reportedly claimed she would ‘rather be on stage with a pig’ than perform with J-Lo. But Mariah vehemently denies saying these things, insisting the remarks are “sad” and a “complete untruth”.

She says, “”This is just some Internet gossip and it’s pathetic that people actually entertain the thought that this could be real. This is another sad example of two strong women being pitted against each other.”

Guys you’ll have to find your entertainment elsewhere I’m afraid…

Spice girl Victoria Beckham has attempted to take LA by storm with a string of skimpy outfits she calls fashion. However 33 year-old Posh has hit the entire opposite of the scale and been voted worst dressed woman in the world.

Top US designer Mr Blackwell put out a most feared list annually, and this year had notorious Amy Winehouse at No. 2 with “exploding beehives above tacky polka dots” and Victoria Beckham gracing the top spot with “one skinny-mini monstrosity after another”

Ouch. Perhaps Vic will take the hint; put on some weight and cover up every now and then. Or perhaps she won’t…

Rapper T.I. and his sometimes, sometimes-not girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle are expecting a baby together. This is the couple’s third child together, his sixth child total. The two had a stillborn daughter in March 2007.

The news was first announced on Tiny’s MySpace page and has since been confirmed by T.I.’s rep. Congrats, but geez, suit up next time.
