Bits of Michael Jackson’s Will Revealed

⊆ July 3rd, 2009 by Cindy | ˜ No Comments »

Michael Jackson’s 5-page long will has been filed recently with the courts. In the document, the late King of Pop’s entire estate will be put into the Michael Jackson Family Trust, which benefits his three children, mother and several charities. The trust documents are not included in the will and remain confidential until the will is executed. There are some items that are still left up for interpretation as the singer never specified where he wanted to be buried when he died. In previous interviews, Michael said that he didn’t want to be buried. It will be interesting what his family thinks is best.

Lady Gaga recently attended an AIDS charity event held by Body Positive North West in Manchester this past Monday. The 23-year old singer visited and supported the charity event for young people affected by HIV because “I have a lot of gay and lesbian friends who are confronted by the fears of that sort of lifestyle. I am a very supportive, proactive woman and I really just wanted to paint with them today. They are so vibrant and its art and love and togetherness. It is everything that should be around the very serious thing that is HIV.” She’s such a nice girl with a good head on her shoulders.

Janet Jackson at BET Awards

⊆ July 2nd, 2009 by Cindy | ˜ No Comments »

Janet Jackson made a quick appearance onstage during the 2009 BET Awards which was held at the Shrine Auditorium this past Sunday in LA. The 43-year old sister of the late singer Michael Jackson honored her older brother during the ceremony saying “My entire family wanted to be here tonight but it was just too painful, so they elected me to speak to all of you. I’m going to keep it very short. To you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family. And he will forever live in all of our hearts. On behalf of my family, and myself, thank you for all of your love. Thank you for all of your support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much.” After Janet left the stage, host Jamie Foxx and Ne-Yo sang a tribute duet to Jackson 5’s ‘I’ll Be There’.

DEA brought into Michael Jackson drug probe

⊆ July 2nd, 2009 by Cindy | ˜ No Comments »

SPL104102_010

The US Drug Enforcement Agency has been called in to help investigate doctors who may have been prescribing powerful drugs to Michael Jackson.

Yesterday sources confirmed DEA agents were now involved in the inquiry. This strengthens reports that investigators firmly believe drug abuse could have been the key to Michael Jackson’s sudden death late last week.

Officers have already been seen removing at least two large evidence bags full of medications from Jackson’s rented home.

And insiders say the DEA will now help expand the probe into doctors involved in Jackson’s life over many years.

“DEA agents will be looking at various doctors involved with Michael Jackson,” a source said.

Neverland co-owner warns residents to brace themselves for Jacko’s fans

⊆ June 30th, 2009 by Cindy | ˜ No Comments »

SPL110157_011

The head of an investment firm that co-owns Neverland Ranch is urging residents near the ranch today to prepare for an onslaught of the singer’s fans.

It is being reported that Michael Jackson is returning to Neverland, the place he called home until 2005.

His body is expected to be transported there on Thursday, ready for a public viewing on Friday.

Now Thomas Barrack Jr, president and chief executive officer of Colony Capital LLC, who co-owned Neverland with Jacko, has written an open letter to Santa Barbara residents, warning that the superstar’s fans will descend on the property within the next few days “with or without permission or an invitation”.

However, he also reveals that discussions are ongoing with the Jackson family, the Sheriff’s Department, Fire Department, residents, business owners and the California Highway Patrol “to protect and preserve the interests of all constituencies”.

Jacko had reportedly vowed never to return to his Neverland Ranch in the aftermath of the criminal trial, in which he was acquitted of lewd conduct with a minor.

But Barrack said residents should still welcome the Jackson family “with open

arms”.

“As Michael’s final arrangements are planned, his family’s wishes should be welcomed by this county with open arms,” he said.

Colony Capital set up a joint venture with Jackson in 2008 to take over ownership of the ranch.

Chris Brown prevented from participating at Michael Jackson homage

⊆ June 30th, 2009 by Cindy | ˜ No Comments »

The rapper was apparently denied participating at the Black Entertainment Television Awards Tribute for Michael Jackson. It seems that Chris Brown was prevented from bringing his own homage by Jay-Z who performed in his place. Chris Brown wasn’t even allowed on stage. It looks like Chris Brown’s actions are having really serious repercusions. No one can say that his treatment of Rihanna has nothing to do with this little event. Well, all the more love will probably spring now between Jay-Z and Chris Brown. Who knows, maybe payback will be a possibility in the near future for Chris Brown.

Elizabeth Taylor Talks Michael Jackson

⊆ June 30th, 2009 by Cindy | ˜ No Comments »

Elizabeth Taylor was initially too devastated to comment on the passing of her dear friend Michael Jackson but she has since released a statement via her Twitter account. The actress, who gave the singer his title of the King of Pop, said “My heart … my mind … are broken. I loved Michael with all my soul and I can’t imagine life without him. We had so much in common and we had such loving fun together. I was packing up my clothes to go to London for his opening when I heard the news. I still can’t believe it. I don’t want to believe it. It can’t be so. He will live in my heart forever but it’s not enough. My life feels so empty. I don’t think anyone knew how much we loved each other. The purest most giving love I’ve ever known. Oh God! I’m going to miss him. I can’t yet imagine life without him. But I guess with God’s help … I’ll learn. I keep looking at the photo he gave me of himself, which says, ‘To my true love Elizabeth, I love you forever.’ And, I will love HIM forever.”

Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray hires a legal team

The doctor who was with Michael Jackson when he collapsed and died has hired a legal team before meeting with police.

Dr Conrad Murray – who appeared to go into hiding after the tragedy Thursday – hired the team of attorneys after repeating requests to meet with investigators.

It was understood that Dr Murray and one of the attorneys would meet with investigators on Saturday afternoon.

And Matt Alford, one of the attorneys hired by him, insisted: “He will co-operate fully.”

He insisted the doctor “is upset as are millions of people across the world”, stressing that he had just had a dear friend die in his arms. “It’s a human tragedy,” he added.

But he insisted: “He is not a suspect in the death of Mr Jackson.”

Dr Murray was due to meet fully with lawyers before the sit-down with police.

Mr Alford added: “I have no information as to what, if any, treatment or course of treatment he was doing for Mr Jackson at all.”

Dr Murray was understood to have been the only person with Jackson when he collapsed in his rented home in Los Angeles.

During the 911 call, a “doctor” was said to also be giving him CPR – although bizarrely on a bed even though it is widely known to only work on hard surfaces.

Police have stressed that his interview is not a criminal investigation. Instead, they want to piece together a timeline of events – and also discover what drugs Jackson had been taking in the run up to his shocking death.

They will be particularly interested in widely reported claims that Jackson had been injected with powerful pain killer Demerol shortly before he collapsed and died of cardiac failure.

The cardiologist became the subject of huge international interest after he seemed to go into hiding while investigators sought to talk to him.

A silver BMW he had been using was also impounded from Jacko’s rented home in California’s exclusive Holmby Hills after the star’s death.

Los Angeles police spokeswoman Karen Rayner said at the time: “His car was impounded because it may contain medications or other evidence that may assist the coroner in determining the cause of death,”

Kylie Minogue Wants a Big Comeback

Kylie Minogue has tapped song writing duo Xenomania to work on her new album. It seems that the Australian singer wants to make a big comeback as a source said “Kylie wants to come back with a bang. Her last album, X, sold quite well but it wasn’t the triumphant return to form many people hoped for. By working with Xenomania she hopes she can create a really coherent album

Michael Jackson’s eternal certainties

⊆ June 26th, 2009 by Cindy | ˜ No Comments »

Even though dead, the pop legend has unfortunately not escaped his cruel past and the insanely large amount of debt he has forced himself into. Michael Jackson wasn’t just the pop singer of a century, but he also seems to have been the business of a century… a business which, sadly, has run very, very poorly lately. The singer’s total amount of debt at his untimely death has apparently been summed up to four hundred million dollars. That’s about the GDP of a small country. It’s curious to see, however, if any of the lawsuits filled against Michael Jackson will find their end together with him… that should account for a small alleviation of the bill.

Kate Moss has reportedly got six £500 VIP tickets for Glastonbury and a buggy to drive around the festival.

It is claimed that Moss, 35, will be staying away from her ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty, 30, while at the event.

A source said: “Kate’s a rock goddess and plans to have a wild time – she doesn’t do things by half. She’s on Lily Allen’s VIP list so it’s free drinks all the way. But her ex Pete Doherty is on the bill – if she sees him, she’ll steer well clear.”

Michael Jackson has died, according to a US report

Pop star Michael Jackson has died, according to reports in the US. He was 50.

TMZ.com claims the former King of Pop died on Thursday afternoon after suffering a heart attack at his rented Los Angeles home.

When paramedics arrived at his mansion he was not breathing and had no pulse.

Paramedics performed CPR on the singer but were unable to revive him, said TMZ.

His family had followed him to UCLA hospital with his mother Katherine arriving about an hour after the ambulance arrived.

Amy Winehouse finds new family

⊆ June 23rd, 2009 by Cindy | ˜ No Comments »

The singer with alcohol problems has apparently become so attached to a local pub owner in St. Lucia that she has come to call her mommy. A source stated the following about Amy Winehouse’s newfound “family”: “She bounds into her local, Marjorie’s Beach Bar, shouting, ‘Mommy! Mommy!’ on a daily basis. She’s not only close to Marjorie but also her sons. She’ll spend hours in there with them.” How come everyone is so certain that Amy Winehouse is doing that out of some primordial need for family and that she’s not actually very much drunk from the day before and just has a bit of a delusional fantasy every time she walks in the bar? It’s not like she has too good a reputation for staying sober.

Katie Price loses endorsements

⊆ June 23rd, 2009 by Cindy | ˜ No Comments »

It seems the effects of Peter Andre’s estranged wife’s behavior are beginning to show. Katie Price has apparently managed to get two of her modeling contracts, worth 4.5 million dollars totally, to be under review due to her… extravagant behavior as of late. A source relates Katie Price’s financial mishaps: “Katie has built a fantastically marketable career as Katie Price, mother of three children and a role model to young girls. She has admitted she wants to go back to being Jordan, and her behavior since splitting from Pete has been wild to say the least. She’s gone back to her pneumatic glamor model roots, getting drunk and posing erotically. From being a respected self-made entrepreneur, some people – young women and mothers in particular – have turned against her.” Oh shucks! Now the divorce won’t be any fun for Peter Andre at all because there is no prospect of a decent gain anymore. That’s just wrong!

Kerry Katona taped into dress for photoshoot

Kerry Katona had to be taped into a dress for a photoshoot after she couldn’t do the zip up.

The floorlength evening gown featured four unsightly strips of grey duct tape holding it together at the back.

The footage follows rumours that Katona has ballooned to a size 16 and is going to an exercise camp in an attempt to get her size eight figure back.

Speaking openly about her life on MTV’s Kerry Katona: What’s The Problem, the 28-year-old said her past, including threats to divorce husband Mark Croft, will never be forgotten because of who she is.

She said: “I can’t be a***d answering questions about why we were going for a divorce. I just want to forget it all. I just want to forget that week, put it in a box, tie it up, send it away and start afresh but I’m Kerry Katona, that doesn’t happen. I don’t want to be Kerry Katona anymore, I’m changing my name.”

Aubrey O’Day is a Diva

Many celebrities have offered their support to the No H8 campaign and Aubrey O’Day is one of them. However, sources say that the former Danity Kane member was anything but gracious or humble during the photo shoot. The non-profit organization tries to accommodate its celebrity supporters to the best of their ability but that apparently wasn’t good enough for her. She demanded that she bring her own hair and make up team and that they be paid for. She also insisted on a car service, claiming she had knee surgery and couldn’t drive. To everyone’s surprise, Aubrey was able to walk and jump and whatever else in high heeled boots. Can you say diva bitch?

Black Eyed Peas First #1 Album And Highest Sales Week Ever

Black Eyed Peas ‘The E.N.D.’ Lands At #1 On The Billboard 200 Chart

Black Eyed Peas’ “The E.N.D.” bows at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 304,000 — the hip-pop act’s best sales week ever. It’s also the first No. 1 album for the group, which had previously gone as high as No. 2. Its last set, 2005’s “Monkey Business,” bowed in the runner-up slot with a then-best 291,000. It had the unfortunate luck to come out the same week as Coldplay’s “X&Y,” which kept the Peas’ at bay when it started at No. 1 with 737,000. -via Billboard.com

Billy Joel parts ways with wife

⊆ June 18th, 2009 by Cindy | ˜ No Comments »

The singer and his wife Katie Lee Joel have apparently decided to go their separate ways recently. Still, it seems it was a decent break-up, with no hard feelings… or so Billy Joel’s spokeswoman said: “After nearly five years of marriage, Billy and Katie have decided to separate. The decision is the result of much thought and consideration. Billy and Katie remain caring friends, with admiration and respect for each other.” Right, that sounds like they had one hell of a fight but decided to keep it private… either that or the age difference kicked in and Billy Joel just acted his own age, but I’d go for the first if I had to wager.
